Since March 1981 until May 1985 A. Zhigalov has been working as a supervisor of cooperative building. This work was declared a work of art. During this work a series of art actions has been realized.

4. Cooperative members are part of people.

6. People is the owner of Art.
7. Ergo: “My recent work: I work as a supervisor of cooperative building” is “Art Cubed”.
8. Artworks are sold and bought.
9. One month of “My recent work: I work as a supervisor” is sold by its nominal price 561516 roubles 62,5 cop. (month salary 82 r. 50 ca. cubed) minus earned 82 r. 50. Total sum: 561433 r.12,5 ca. Or retail:

All the sum earned for selling of “My recent work: I work as a supervisor” is to be the financial beginning of the Foundation with the aim to promote the Project of digging a channel which will divide Russia into two parts, that is European and Asiatic. Realization of this Project would have helped to solve the Russia age-old problem of her roots and self identification: weather she is part of european or asiatic civilization.

From 1982, March 1 on all the space with perimeter 100x100 m around building 130, Kashirskoie shosse is declared to be “Reserve of Art or the Cube of Art”.

Cinema “Avangard” is opened on Kashirskoie shosse
by request of the working masses and according to the Project
“Explorations into the Essence of Art as applied to Life and Art”.
“AVANGARD ALLEY” FOUNDATION SUBBOTNIK
“Avangard Alley” foundation subbotnick took place 1982, October 9 at Kashirskoie shosse 130. Subbotnick was realized by initiative of A. Zhigalov, supervisor, according to his Project “Supervisor work”. A group of Moscow and Leningrad artists participated in this action.
