PERFORMANCE
1985, March
Location: A kitchen in S. Sokhransky’s studio
Duration: 1 hour
Material: Man and woman, a table blocking the entrance into the room, chess-clock, microphone, recorder, amplifiers
Illumination: Lamps turned to the artists’ eyes, light in studio
The artists make an improvised dialogue (or rather parallel monologues, a sort of deaf-and-dumb conversation) as a blitz chess game (1 min. each). “Art” is the main theme. The presents may either look and listen to in uncomfortable position on the steps by the door of the room or sit comfortably in studio listening to but not seeing the totartists.
