In this action, a drawing taken from a set of 13 Chinese postcards defined which book from 13 possible titles, which had been buried during “The Library” performance (1997), was to be unearthed. The book selected was “Chinese documents from Dunkhuan” published in 1983.
Then, in the same spot on the field where the clocks were buried (and which had been extracted from the earth during “The sack” performance, 2001) an iron rod with a knob in the form of a turtle was hammered into the ground. With the aid of a GPS and pocket PC coordinates, the spot was noted as: N 56 ‘02, 3989. E 037 ‘ 27, 2178.
