Wintering in the Ground at Heidegger's Clearing
Two metal jewel-boxes in the shape of polar bears were filled with the following memory cards, containing video recordings:
Into the jewel-box, in the shape of a walking bear: 6 micro-SD cards with videos of the members of Collective Actions (N. Alekseev, E. Elegina and I. Makarevich, A. Monastyrski, N. Panitkov, S. Romashko, and S. Hänsgen) and one micro-SD card inside an adapter containing videos of the actions' viewers: N. Alekseev, A. Auerbach, V. Zakharov, K. Zvezdochetov, I. Korina, A. Kuzkin, O. Kulik, MishMash, A. Ryabova, G. Titov, A. Chernoztonskaya (N. Alekseev contributed two different recordings, one as a viewer and the other as a member of the first iteration of CA). The second jewel-box, in the shape of a seated bear, contained two "master" SD memory cards: one with a video recording of Vatagin's fresco from the vestibule of the Moscow Zoological Museum (two polar bears above a seal carcass); the other, a video of the working fountain with two bear sculptures in the courtyard of the house near Academic Lyulka Square.
After which, these jewel-box bears were placed into three plastic containers (one inside the next) along with silica gel and rice absorbent and buried in "Heidegger's Clearing" (next to Kievogorsky Field) for the winter. According to the action plan, the jewel-boxes with the memory cards are to be dug up next year (the goal of the action being to find out whether the video files will be preserved on the memory cards in working order after their wintering in the ground).
