1941 born in Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod)
1961 graduated from V.I.Lenin College of Education, Moscow (philology dep-t)
since 1979 has participated in the project “Explorations into the Essence of Art as applied to Life and to Art” (called TOTART since 1983) - joint with A.Zhigalov
1981 took part in setting up Moscow Archive of New Art
since 1982 founding member of APTART movement (sharing in all its actions)
since 1984 member of the French Union of Young Artists
since 1985 member of Hungary’s Young Artists’ Club
since 1987 member of Avantgarde Club (CLAVA)
since 1993 member of Artists’ Union and Writers’ Union
since 1996 member of “Free Culture” Humanitarian Foundation
Anatoly Zhigalov
1941 born in Arzamas, Gorky Region
1964 graduated from Moscow Region’s College of Education (philology dep-t)
since late 1950s has been writing poetry and painting
since 1979 has participated (with N.Abalakova) in the project “Explorations into the Essence of Art as applied to Life and Art” (called TOTART since 1983)
since 1981 helped to set up Moscow Archive of New Art
since 1982 active in APTART movement
