THE CHINESE SECRET

In the inner courtyard of the Chinese Garden, in a little grotto in the rocks not far from a waterfall, we put side by side on two stones a square casket with a gypsum lid and the figure of a little winged bear playing the cello. After this, we removed the lid from the casket, put the bear inside, closed the casket with the lid again, and left it behind in the grotto.
