At half past midnight, at the garbage dump in the courtyard of the house where in 1985 the KD action “The Score” took place, two garbage receptacles were covered with yellow and purple cloth. On the cloth were placed two photographs (on foamboard), sized 60 x 90 cm and made from two slides from “The Score” (Nos. 43 and 45), depicting fragments of a garbage truck taken in 1985 at this very dump for the slide-film in “The Score.” Then, two tape players were set up on top of the boards with the photographs. One played the “working” soundtrack from the action “The Score” (the text of the action recorded in the voice of AM); the second tape player played the “final” soundtrack of the same action (the “musical drip” produced by S. Letov; Monastyrski and Romashko’s “full stops” and “dashes”; and the audience commentary).
The objects from the action and the running tape players were left in place.
